Free Online Bible Teaching We sometimes say "Bible is our middle name."  That's because we believe the Bible is very relevant and authoritative for every situation that we may face in this life and the life to come.  Because God's written Word is so important, we often read from it and teach it. One important time of Bible teaching happens at our Sunday morning Family Bible Hour.  Recordings of these messages may be downloaded freely from this website as MP3 files.
The Heart of the Elders: "For Such a Time as This" A cultural and moral war is raging all around us.  Immorality is rampant.  Divorce is widespread.  Proponents of same-sex "marriage" call it completely normal.  Pre-born and just-born children are murdered.  Pornography is at epidemic levels.  Laws are increasingly disregarded.  Instant gratification is an accepted way of life.

How has our nation ended up in such a moral mess?
New Fusion Series: "Living By the Book" Fusion, the Westside ministry for young adults, is excited about watching the new video series "Living by the Book" by Howard Hendricks. Dr. Hendricks is showing the group how to understand and apply God’s Word for themselves.  They're being captivated by this brilliant teacher’s highly energetic style, friendly manner, unforgettable illustrations, and laugh-out-loud humor.  Hendricks is walking them step-by-step through his signature model for self-study: Observation, Interpretation, Application.
Activities for the Whole Family Anyone who walks through our front doors quickly notices that the Westside church family is made up of a wide spectrum of people.  There are children, teenagers, young adults, young marrieds, families, middle-age people and seniors - people from 1 to almost 100! We think it's very healthy to rub shoulders with people of all ages in a local church.  Every person is valuable to the heart of God.
Women's Ministries - Fun and Fellowship Lifeline. Niteline.  Girls Night Out. Women of Westside (WOW) encompasses a variety of ministries for the women of our church and community.

"Lifeline" and "Niteline" Bible studies meet on Thursday mornings and Monday evenings to encourage women to seek a deeper relationship with God and one other. "Girls Night Out" provides an opportunity for women to have dinner together while getting to know one another and building lasting relationships.
Youth Gatherings Develop Healthy Relationships Each Sunday morning at 11:00, the junior-high and senior-high youth meet in discussion-oriented classes. Teens learn from the Bible how to live a life that is joyful and pleasing to God despite the pressures of teenage life. Youth gatherings are also held Sunday evenings during the school year. "Bridges" is for senior-high youth while "The Power" is for junior-highers. See the calendar for the meeting times.

Focus 2010
Trusting_GodLearn to trust God in 2010

"Trusting God" is our chosen church focus this year.

Our God is always completely trustworthy for every aspect of life.  His trustworthiness is grounded on His never-changing character, His love, His power and His presence.   And it's the basis of our being able to trust Him for everything both in this life and the life to come.

Because God is so trustworthy, our sa

Bible Read-through

ManReadBibleReading and meditating on the Word of God is vital to Christian growth.

Though many Christians are regular Bible readers, many others are not regularly getting into the Word.

What’s more, most people have never completely read the Bible through. They may start reading but then become overwhelmed by the enormity of the task and may even get lost in the flow of Scripture.

The elders of Westside

Welcome to Westside

entrance_smallWestside Bible Fellowship is made up of ordinary folks who have come to experience that Jesus Christ is the all-sufficient Savior who changes people from the inside out.

"Bible" is our middle name. That's because we believe the Bible is relevant and authoritative for every situation we may face in this life and the life to come.

We're a "fellowship" because personal relationships are important to us. That's why we're learning how to encourage and sacrificially serve one another.

We're a work in progress. We meet together to learn to love and follow Christ and share Him with others. We invite you to come learn with us.

Our Vision
