Children's Ministries

sundayschool_3Westside Bible Fellowship places a high priority on ministering to our children. Sunday School classes are provided Sunday mornings at 11:00 for children ages two through high school and taught by trained and caring teachers.

The goal of our Sunday School is to clearly and compassionately communicate God's Word and plan of salvation to each child and to teach biblical principles for daily living. Music, drama, object lessons and stories are used to share God's love with the children.

In addition to Sunday School, "PREP4Kids" meets at Westside every Wednesday afternoon from 1:00-2:10 pm during the school year.  "PREP" stands for "Portland Released-Time Education." Oregon law permits public school students to be "released" from class for up to two hours per week during school hours for religious training off campus.  PREP4Kids’ mission is to help children and their families find purpose and direction in life through the study of God's Word.  For more information about PREP4Kids, click here.

Westside Bible Fellowship makes every effort to provide a safe and secure environment for children. Because of the widespread problem of child abuse in our society, we have implemented a Child Abuse Risk Reduction (CARR) policy in all of our children's programs.
